HFI carbon air intake kit VAG 1.6-2.0 TDI EA188 EA189 (e.g. Golf 5/6, A3 8P) (HGHFISV01-5M)

This intake kit replaces the entire air filter box including the plastic intake snorkel. Already during removal you will see that the plastic intake snorkel from the vehicle manufacturer is restrictive. The HFI intake system offered here is made of carbon fibre and has, as the filter element in the airbox, a special DRY Pipercross sports air filter developed especially for the system, which is not oiled and therefore does not damage the mass air flow sensor. Pipercross filter: air flow of 489cfm Scope of delivery: - Carbon airbox with vibration damper to the intake pipe - Pipercross sports air filter - Connecting hose for the connection to the mass air flow sensor - Quick-tap connection for connecting the vacuum hose to the intake - Fitting kit (clamps, adapters, ...) - Incl. Parts certificate for easy registration under §19.3 Note: the OEM engine cover has to be adapted to fit perfectly (remove 2cm from the right outer corner).
