This intake for VAG 1.4 TSI E6 engines from HF-Series is the result of years of experience and continuous further development. The intake is made entirely of carbon. This allows us to guarantee maximum tensile strength and stiffness. 4x as strong as aluminium, low-vibration and both gas- and pressure-tight - perfect for the fresh-air supply. This system is designed specifically for Pipercross sports air filters. The new feature: the air filter sits transverse to the direction of flow. This ensures that the maximum air mass can be drawn in. The development was carried out entirely in-house. With elaborate 3D scans and flow simulation, we managed to create the optimum in performance combined with an incomparable intake sound. The HFI carbon air intake kit fits the 1.4 TSI engine with Euro 6 emissions class. Suitable for both stock vehicles and vehicles with tuned engines. This intake kit replaces the entire air filter box including the OEM intake funnel and intake pipe. To achieve maximum performance, we recommend complementing our air intake with the HF-Series turbo inlet, which you can optionally get as a set when buying this intake, and our additional air baffle. Scope of delivery: - CNC intake adapter for the turbocharger - Silicone intake hose from the turbocharger to the airbox (one-piece) - Pipercross HF500 filter - Gen.3 carbon airbox - All clamps/screws needed for fitting. Note: this intake has no approval/parts certificate. Unfortunately we cannot currently say whether and when a certificate will be available.
