This generation 3 intake from HF-Series is the result of years of experience and continuous further development. The intake is made entirely of carbon. This allows us to guarantee maximum tensile strength and stiffness. 4x as strong as aluminium, low-vibration and both gas- and pressure-tight - perfect for the fresh-air supply. This system is designed specifically for Pipercross sports air filters. The new feature: the air filter sits transverse to the direction of flow. This ensures that the maximum air mass can be drawn in. The development was carried out entirely in-house. With elaborate 3D scans and flow simulation, we managed to create the optimum in performance combined with an incomparable intake sound. The HFI carbon air intake kit fits the 1.8-2.0 TSI engine with Euro 6 emissions class. Suitable for both stock vehicles and vehicles with tuned engines. This intake kit replaces the entire air filter box including the OEM intake funnel and intake pipe. This kit has a parts certificate for easy registration under §19.3 Pipercross filter: air flow of 503.1cfm To achieve maximum performance, we recommend complementing our air intake with the HF-Series turbo inlet, which you can optionally get as a set when buying this intake, and our additional air baffle. For all vehicles with the IS38 turbocharger, such as the Golf 7R, TCR, GTI Clubsport, Audi S3 8V and Leon Cupra 5F, the valve T9359 must be used so that it can be fitted without extra adaptation work.
