The turbo outlet sits directly in the turbocharger outlet (fresh-air pressure side). The original outlet (turbo silencer) was fitted at the factory to reduce noise and turbo acoustics at the expense of flow rate (air throughput) and response. The HF-Series TDI Turbo Outlet eliminates the silencer. Thanks to the modified design, there is none of the turbulence that occurs with the original part, and the response of your TDI’s turbocharger is improved. Only in this way can the air reach the intercooler in an optimum, even flow. The results are higher maximum power and improved response. This turbo outlet was developed using state-of-the-art flow simulations and calculations. The connection diameters were calculated on the basis of this development to guarantee maximum throughput and optimum airflow. The ideal addition for TDI engines that have already been optimised. Fitting is “plug and play”, replacing the original part. Our TDI turbo outlet is supplied with a parts certificate for easy registration. (Prepared and tested by TÜV Süd)
