EGO-X exhaust system for Volkswagen Arteon R Shooting Brake 3.5" performance exhaust system. Handmade. With ECE operating licence. The EGO-X exhaust system for the Volkswagen Arteon R Shooting Brake was developed specifically for the powerful 2.0 TSI with 320 PS. It combines a powerful sound, high-quality stainless steel workmanship and precise fit with modern valve technology. Made using TIG welding and equipped with handmade absorption silencers without chambers, the system provides a sporty sound character and a high-quality performance look. Fits the following vehicles: Volkswagen Arteon R Shooting Brake Engine code: DNFG Displacement: 1984 cm³ Power: 235 kW / 320 PS Tailpipe versions Two tailpipe solutions are available for this exhaust system: Version 1: OEM tailpipes In this version, the original standard tailpipes are carried over. Important: the OEM tailpipes have to be cut off and re-welded, and this can only be done on site at our premises in Lübeck. This version is therefore only available with fitting at HG-Motorsport in Lübeck. Version 2: Universal > HG tailpipes 145 x 90 mm This version can be shipped and is supplied with the selected tailpipes. A perfect fit: 4 tailpipes in 145 x 90 mm format Connection via 63 mm ball joint in stainless steel or carbon, as preferred This version can be ordered and shipped without re-welding the standard tailpipes. Valve system The EGO-X exhaust system is equipped with an electric exhaust valve. The matching SBS motor is included in the scope of delivery. If the ECE version is selected, the Bull-X Tronic control unit is also supplied. It controls the valve automatically according to the requirements of the ECE regulation. Technical details Main pipe diameter: 3.5" (89 mm) Pipe routing at the T-piece: 1x 3" (76 mm) / 1x 2.5" (63 mm) Material: stainless steel Absorption silencers: handmade in-house Type: from the standard Y-pipe Manufacture: TIG-welded Electric exhaust valve SBS motor included in the scope of delivery Scope of delivery EGO-X exhaust system from the standard Y-pipe Fitting kit Fitting instructions SBS motor for the electric exhaust valve Bull-X Tronic control unit if the ECE version is selected Tailpipes depending on the version selected With ECE operating licence Applies if selected: Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE operating licence This valved exhaust system has ECE approval and can therefore be used legally on public roads without being entered in the vehicle documents. Conclusion The EGO-X exhaust system for the Volkswagen Arteon R Shooting Brake combines high-quality handcrafted stainless steel, modern valve technology and a powerful sound with flexible tailpipe solutions.
