The HF-Series intake pipes/turbo inlets are compatible with the standard RS6/RS7 intake system. The inlet is a very important component between the turbocharger and the intake system, because only when the entire path up to the turbocharger is optimised can the full potential of the turbocharger and engine be made available. The new intake pipes were developed to allow maximum throughput and optimum flow. As the original component is restrictive and also has edges and dents that impede flow, it is not designed for performance and even creates turbulence and back pressure. To achieve maximum flow, absolutely no compromises were made: the flanges, together with the first bends at the turbo, are CNC-milled entirely from solid material, because only in this way can the maximum available space be fully exploited and a gain of +16% more throughput be measured on the flow bench. Another feature is the additional inlet spacers, which eliminate the edge in the compressor housing and thus generate perfect airflow without separation. This is the only way the air can reach the turbocharger with an optimum, even flow. The results are higher maximum power and improved response. The spacers fit the original S6/S7 and RS6/RS7 turbochargers. If you run upgraded turbochargers with enlarged compressor housings, you can have the spacers made to your required size by us (option at the top of the selection) The facts at a glance: - Flow-optimised - Consisting of intake pipes, inlet spacers, hoses and clamps - 5-axis milled connections - Allows higher peak power and improved response - Black powder-coated for an OEM look - Also available for upgraded turbochargers - Plug & play installation Notes: 1. For the S6 and S7, conversion to the RS6/RS7 air filter box incl. the Y-pipe is necessary, as this then has the required 60mm connections instead of 55mm. A further advantage is then also the 100mm filter connection instead of 90mm. 2. The OEM rubber hose for the crankcase ventilation on the underside of the right-hand intake pipe must be shortened by approx. 2.5cm. (using a utility knife)
