No more loss of boost pressure and power due to a faulty PCV valve? Then you’ve come to the right place. Advantages: - no loss of boost pressure - no loss of power - no turbocharger overspeeding - made of corrosion-resistant aluminium - fits with the original intake/engine cover and all intakes - incl. adapter for tapping boost pressure/vacuum: e.g. for a boost gauge or the exhaust system’s valve control - incl. certificate: so no registration required Disadvantage of the standard component: - frequent boost pressure losses -> loss of power Consequence: possible overspeeding of the turbocharger, as it tries to reach the set boost pressure.

Technical details:

  • - CNC-milled PCV Fix - black anodised - Incl. Certificate, therefore no registration required - Installation within a few minutes - Complete set with blanking cap for the intake manifold Scope of delivery: - PCV Fix incl. all small parts - incl. adapter for tapping the boost pressure - Certificate An engine’s crankcase ventilation serves to burn its oil vapours. These vapours collect in the valve cover and are routed partly to the intake side of the turbocharger and partly to the intake manifold. If the valve is faulty, however, it is like a leak in the charge-air system: the boost pressure escapes from the intake manifold. This is where the PCV Fix comes in. It consists of a blanking cap for the intake manifold and a blanking plate for the connection of the original PCV valve. This permanently prevents these boost pressure losses and the resulting power losses. The set also includes an adapter for tapping boost pressure or vacuum. This is suitable, for example, for a boost gauge or for connecting an exhaust valve control. The PCV Fix also fits with the original intake/engine cover as well as all intakes available on the market. The PCV Fix is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, then black anodised and supplied complete with O-rings and screws. The HF-Series PCV Fix has a certificate and therefore does not require registration. Explanation: 1. The crankcase ventilation (1) is routed to the valve cover (2), exactly where the standard valve (3) is fitted. The PCV valve (positive crankcase ventilation) has a connection (4) to the intake manifold (5). 2. This valve opens under vacuum. 3. Under positive pressure it closes so that no boost pressure can escape from the intake manifold. 4. This is exactly where the problem lies. The diaphragm of the original part tends to tear. Boost pressure then escapes from the intake manifold, resulting in a loss of power. 5. To prevent this, the PCV-FIX set is used to close off the connection on the valve cover (1) and on the intake manifold (2). The crankcase ventilation gases continue to be fed back into the circuit via the intake.
