Open Intake System “Open E-INTAKE - 2.0 TDI EA288” Open intake for VAG 2.0 TDI (transversely mounted) More power. More sound. More driving fun. Can be registered with the certificate! This intake is the perfect solution for all 2.0 TDI drivers with an EA288 engine who want to noticeably improve the sound - and completely legally! The plastic intake pipe widens from 80 mm to 152 mm, bringing significantly more air into the engine. Result: better pulling power, faster boost pressure build-up and noticeably more driving fun. Notes on combinations: combination with other type-approved (ECE/EC) exhaust systems has been tested and is permitted. Highlights: Enlarged intake pipe (80 mm → 152 mm) Significantly amplified intake sound - finally audible turbo whistle and intake roar Faster response & a sportier driving feel Fits all transversely mounted VAG 2.0 TDI - EA288 engines With parts certificate On the TDI in particular, this intake finally brings out the sound that otherwise stays hidden.
