Open Intake System “Open E-INTAKE - 2.5 TFSI EA855 evo” The time has finally come: the new Open E-INTAKE is now also available for the 2.5 TFSI EA855 evo engine!! The open intake with TÜV certificate offers maximum performance & brutal sound! The system can be combined with other type-approved components (exhaust systems with ECE and downpipes with ECE) and an E-INTAKE / HG-Motorsport intercooler, which is also noted in the certificate. When combined with ECE-tested exhaust systems, the inspector may need to verify compliance with the stationary noise level. The intake consists of an aluminium intake pipe that widens from 114mm to 152mm. This larger intake volume significantly improves air flow compared with the stock intake. Optionally also available with the 3.5" E-INTAKE turbo inlet, which is also listed in the parts certificate.
