Uncompromising material selection and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology achieve the perfect balance of braking performance, weight and durability. Developed for extreme loads, this brake system meets even the highest demands of powerful vehicles. Optimised brake disc technology To massively increase thermal stability and fade resistance, the diameter and thickness of the brake discs have been increased to 370 x 35 mm. Elaborate cross-drilling is also used: every pre-cast hole is re-drilled and countersunk to optimise the flow of cooling air and minimise stresses in the material. The specially developed DDE ventilation system increases the effective cooling surface by up to 80 % compared with conventional brake discs. The result is significantly reduced temperatures, less wear and maximum resistance to fading - even under sustained high loads. MOVIT 6-piston aluminium brake calipers (6s5, Forged) The forged MOVIT 6-piston brake calipers are made of high-strength 7075 aircraft aluminium and offer maximum stability with low weight. The progressive piston sizing ensures even pressure distribution and an extremely precise brake feel.
