This 1-piece intake hose made of temperature-resistant, multi-layer silicone in perfect SF-Hoses quality replaces the intake hose including the silencer, which sits directly on the compressor inlet of the turbocharger. A further advantage of this hose over the factory part is that it has a smooth inner wall, a larger internal volume and a conical taper. This reduces flow resistance and achieves a performance increase, especially on optimised engines. The “missing” silencer of the original part also “amplifies” the intake sound. As the ideal complement, we recommend the Pipercross upgrade filter. You get it at a lower price as a set. Scope of delivery: - 1x silicone hose incl. adapter for crankcase ventilation - 3x clamp Installation is a plug & play replacement. The factory click connectors are reused. Note: on the Audi SQ5, the engine cover must be modified in the area of the upgrade intake hose because of the larger diameter (approx. 6-7mm of the plastic must be ground/cut away)
