These aluminium pressure pipes for your Audi S3 8L / TT 8N / Leon Cupra 1M with 209/225PS are handmade and then polished to a high gloss or powder-coated in black. For those who consider optimum airflow to their intercooler essential, this pressure pipe is an absolute must. Fitting this product avoids the power-sapping turbulence of the incoming air that the original pressure pipe causes because of the noise damper/silencer installed in it. Response after gear changes also improves noticeably. Fitting is therefore highly recommended, especially on tuned 1.8T engines with 210/225 PS. Fitting position: between turbocharger and intercooler Installation is plug & play; the pressure pipe fits both the original pressure hoses and our upgrade silicone hoses. Thanks to the use of aluminium, the pressure pipe is also much lighter than the original component, so the unsightly large retaining bracket on the cylinder head (directly in view) is no longer needed, which further improves the looks.
