Automatic gearboxes ensure that the engine always runs in its most efficient range. As modern automatic gearboxes become more complex, however, the performance demands on them also rise. Especially on vehicles that have been optimised and tuned afterwards. This shows in the extreme thermal and mechanical load on the gearbox oil, which results in increased wear and maintenance requirements. If the gearbox oil is not changed in time, the dirt and metal abrasion it contains can cause mechanical damage in the gearbox. That is why manufacturers and many vehicle builders recommend changing the gearbox oil, depending on mileage and driving style. This also applies to “lifetime fills”. A complete change of the gearbox oil used to be impossible, so changing the gearbox oil resulted in the fresh oil being contaminated with the remaining old oil - a problem that has been solved thanks to Gear Tronic from Liqui Moly. The automatic gearbox oil service device allows an almost 100 per cent fluid exchange without mixing fresh and old oil. Only then can the new oil develop its full performance. Of course, we only carry out the change with top products from Liqui Moly and not with cheap, inferior no-name lubricants. This of course also applies to the gearbox oil filter, which is always replaced as well. Prices: VAG dual-clutch / direct-shift gearboxes (DSG): from 439€ incl. oil (incl. VAT) (prices vary depending on the DSG gearbox and filter required) Automatic/torque converter, e.g. BMW/Mercedes: from 699 € incl. oil (incl. VAT) (prices vary depending on the gearbox fitted and filter required) For an exact price, please send us an email with a photo of your vehicle registration document to [email protected] or visit us directly on site. Prices vary somewhat depending on the required fill quantity and oil filter. The facts at a glance: optimised shifting behaviour: shift delays, rough gear changes and even the failure of entire gears are eliminated. Lower fuel consumption: early and smooth shift points can have a positive effect on consumption. Less wear: combined with additives, the gearbox flush ensures smoother running and less material wear. Longer service life: most manufacturers recommend a gearbox oil change every 60,000 km or every 4 to 6 years. Your vehicle will feel like it did on the first day with every gear change.
