The facelifted Toyota Yaris GR runs a 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive, a rally-derived layout that sounds nothing like a four-cylinder. The OEM system lets almost none of that uneven firing rhythm through. The GRAIL valved exhaust system makes the characteristic three-cylinder beat audible again and sharpens the overrun noticeably.
