The Porsche 911 GT3 of the 991.1 generation works with a 3.8-litre flat-six that revs to 9000 rpm without forced induction. The OEM system audibly takes edge away from the naturally aspirated engine in the mid rev range. The GRAIL valved exhaust system gives the flat-six back its metallic hardness and lets the climb to the limiter come through clearly, without making the GT3 unbearable on long journeys.
