The Shelby GT500 on the S197 platform of the 2011 to 2014 model years carries a 5.8-litre eight-cylinder with a supercharger and is therefore among the largest-displacement Mustang versions of all. The OEM system keeps this engine well below its potential. The GRAIL valved exhaust system opens it up towards the top and gives the large-displacement eight-cylinder the heavy, deep foundation that suits its displacement.
