The Ford GT from model year 2016 is a carbon monocoque supercar with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 derived from endurance racing – a powertrain that sounds completely different from the classic eight-cylinders of the marque. From the factory little of that remains audible. The GRAIL valved exhaust system sharpens the characteristic six-cylinder turbo note and makes overrun and boost build-up clearly perceptible.
