The Ferrari 812 Superfast carries its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 ahead of the cabin and revs it well beyond 8000 rpm without any forced induction. As delivered, less of that engine reaches the ear than the twelve-cylinder has to give. The GRAIL valved exhaust system in the non-OPF version opens the engine up towards the top – with clear definition high in the rev range and a control system that pulls the tone back again in town.

This exhaust system holds an ECE type approval and therefore requires no individual approval* for road use.
