The Golf 8 R has four round tailpipe cut-outs in a very shallow rear valance, where the factory trims barely register. The GRAIL tailpipe set in carbon puts a visible material against that: the exposed carbon sleeves pick up the weave of other add-on parts and lift the four-outlet layout clearly, without making the rear end look busy.
