A GRAIL system already fitted to a sixth-generation Mustang can be opened up further in a targeted way. On the 2015 to 2017 pre-facelift model years the XTREME H-pipe takes on that job: it replaces the central damping section with a cross connection that acoustically couples both banks. The eight-cylinder thereby sounds more coherent and considerably louder, without the tailpipe position changing.

This exhaust system holds an ECE type approval and therefore requires no individual approval* for road use.
