GFB VTA T9451 blow-off valve VAG 2.5/ 2.0/ 1.8/ 1.4 TFSI (GFBDVT9451)

The original valves already leak straight from the factory, which causes a loss of power that is even more pronounced on tuned vehicles because of the higher boost pressure. Installing the GFB DV+/VTA closes this “hole” in the charge-air system and thereby noticeably improves response and boost retention. In addition, the turbocharger is protected, as it no longer has to work “against” the hole in the charge-air system. At the same time, the well-known “whoosh” sound is produced when changing gear, as excess charge air is vented to the atmosphere. Other manufacturers offer a simple spacer to produce the blow-off sound, which is also fitted under the original valve. Although this produces a blow-off sound, it does not solve the problem of the leaking original valve. With the GFB VTA valve, however, both problems are eliminated in one go! The GFB T9451 fits all 2.5, 2.0 and 1.8 TFSI engines (also fits 1.4 TSI with three-hole mounting - models with turbo only, without supercharger). Advantages: - 100% sealed even at high boost pressures (flawless up to 2.5 bar) - noticeably more power and torque - made of aluminium (housing) and brass (piston): more reliability and durability on tuned vehicles - Faster boost build-up compared with an original diverter valve - Plug & play: easy installation within 10-15 minutes, as the original control unit is retained. Notes: - This valve can only be used in combination with the original solenoid valve unit. To do this, you simply have to convert the original valve. - Open diverter valves / blow-off valves are not road-legal under the German StVZO.
