Would you like to get more power from your TDI and at the same time take the strain off your turbocharger? Then you should start with a Bull-X product! Downpipes play a key role in pulling power and performance. They are the “link” between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The larger the pipe diameter and the higher the pipe’s flow capacity, the more easily the turbocharger can expel the exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on torque, power and the resulting sound! (especially in combination with a modified exhaust system) This product replaces both the DPF and the standard catalytic converter. On pre-facelift models, only a small part of the flange has to be cut off for fitting (see picture 3) Adapting the engine management after fitting is absolutely essential! (If your downpipe is longer at the point where the lower flange sits, this DP will not fit your vehicle, or only with adaptation work.) All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion, and possible investigations by the environmental authority.
