BULL-X Exhausts produces downpipes at the highest level. Like the Bull-X stainless steel downpipe for AMG A45 and CLA 45 models. The higher flow capacity of the downpipe results in a power gain, better response, lower exhaust gas temperatures and a sporty sound. The downpipe is perfectly suited to both stock and tuned vehicles. - 89mm at the inlet -> after the cat: 76mm - no steps at the inlet, hence flow-optimised - increases performance - Material: stainless steel - *optionally with 100/200-cell catalytic converter, EOBD sports cat or 300-cell ECE HJS sports catalytic converter (does not require registration) This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion, and possible investigations by the environmental authority. Notes: the catalytic converter option “incl. 200-cell ECE HJS sports catalytic converter (without operating licence)” bears a test mark without vehicle assignment for the Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA 45 models and therefore has no operating licence here. Please note that with downpipes without ECE approval, the engine warning light will come on. This does not restrict driving. If you select the cat “incl. 200-cell ECE HJS sports catalytic converter (without operating licence)”, no error message occurs and the software does not need to be adapted. Catalytic converter information If you select a downpipe without a cat or with a 100/200-cell cat, the control unit may log an error message from the post-cat lambda sensor; this does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor is still there for engine management. The post-cat sensor is only responsible for monitoring the cat’s effectiveness. This can be programmed out by a chip tuner by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard have no post-cat oxygen sensor, and installation is possible without further adaptation and without error messages. The washcoat content of HJS ECE and EOBD cats is significantly higher and is characterised by a very high oxygen storage capacity, which means error messages can be avoided. The EOBD cats have been tested for this up to Euro 4. Durability and use up to the Euro 6 emissions standard are of course guaranteed. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the points mentioned above can only be avoided if a cat with ECE approval is selected.
