Would you like to get more power from your turbocharged Mini R55-R61, Citroen DS3-DS4, Peugeot RCZ and at the same time take the strain off your turbocharger and the surrounding components? Then you should start with this Bull-X product! Downpipes play a key role in pulling power and performance. It is the “link” between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The larger the diameter and the higher the flow rate of the catalytic converter, the more easily the turbocharger can expel the processed exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on torque and power. This downpipe is completely made in Germany and is handmade by us using the TIG welding process. The advantages at a glance: • the turbocharger can expel the exhaust gases more easily, which results in more power • more torque, as the turbocharger reaches speed faster and is not slowed down • also fits in combination with the original exhaust system • lower exhaust gas temperature, which relieves the manifold & turbocharger *Optionally available without cat, with a 100-cell cat, with a 200-cell cat or with an HJS sports cat and ECE operating licence Extra sound 70mm pipe diameter If you select a catalytic converter variant without ECE approval, the following applies to this item: This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion, and possible investigations by the environmental authority. Catalytic converter information If you select a downpipe without a cat or with a 100/200-cell cat, the control unit may log an error message from the post-cat lambda sensor; this does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor is still there for engine management. The post-cat sensor is only responsible for monitoring the cat’s effectiveness. This can be programmed out by a chip tuner by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard have no post-cat oxygen sensor, and installation is possible without further adaptation and without error messages. The washcoat content of HJS ECE and EOBD cats is significantly higher and is characterised by a very high oxygen storage capacity, which means error messages can be avoided. The EOBD cats have been tested for this up to Euro 4. Durability and use up to the Euro 6 emissions standard are of course guaranteed. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the points mentioned above can only be avoided if a cat with ECE approval is selected.
