BULL-X 2.5" DOWNPIPE - MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE FOR YOUR 1.4 TSI / TFSI More power. Less heat. Emotion you can feel. The 2.5" (63.5 mm) Bull-X downpipe is the ideal solution for all front-wheel-drive VAG 1.4 TSI/TFSI models - whether stock or already tuned. Thanks to high-quality stainless steel, precise TIG welding and an optional ECE-approved HJS catalytic converter, it takes your setup to the next level - with maximum road legality. YOUR ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE: Noticeable performance increase & better response Lower exhaust gas temperatures - ideal for tuning Optionally with 100/200 cells or HJS ECE catalytic converter High-quality stainless steel, TIG-welded Including adapter for the OEM exhaust system Optionally with TÜV-compliant ECE approval IMPORTANT NOTE ON FITMENT: for the Polo, Ibiza and Audi A1 the additional connecting pipe is absolutely essential - without it, installation is not possible! Details: - Pipe diameter 63.5 mm (2.5") - increases performance - available optionally with dummy cat, 100/200 cells or with HJS ECE sports catalytic converter - The downpipe is TIG-welded - Material: stainless steel - incl. adapter to the original exhaust system - *optionally also with approval under the StVZO If a catalytic converter variant without ECE approval is selected, the following applies to this item: This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion, and possible investigations by the environmental authority. Catalytic converter information If you select a downpipe without a cat or with a 100/200-cell cat, the control unit may log an error message from the post-cat lambda sensor; this does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor is still there for engine management. The post-cat sensor is only responsible for monitoring the cat’s effectiveness. This can be programmed out by a chip tuner by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard have no post-cat oxygen sensor, and installation is possible without further adaptation and without error messages. The washcoat content of HJS ECE and EOBD cats is significantly higher and is characterised by a very high oxygen storage capacity, which means error messages can be avoided. The EOBD cats have been tested for this up to Euro 4. Durability and use up to the Euro 6 emissions standard are of course guaranteed. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the points mentioned above can only be avoided if a cat with ECE approval is selected.
