With the universal CANchecked MFD15 Gen2 data display you always have all relevant values in view. The MFD15 Gen2 has an OLED screen that offers the best readability even in direct sunlight. With an outer diameter of 52 mm, the display is compatible not only with our in-house vehicle trims but also with standard interior mounts. It is operated with the two push buttons on the front glass. You can also connect our optional rotary knob. Brand new on our MFD15 Gen2 is access to the device via WiFi. This lets you set up the MFD15 Gen2 via smartphone or PC. With the oDSS you set up your display completely, can log values (licence required), upload your own start screen and also update the display. Supported values. A popular customer question is: “Which values can I read from my ECU?” The answer: “ALL” - your new MFD15 Gen2 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284. The ECU manufacturers themselves decide which values are sent via the CAN bus interface. Documentation is important here - possibly even in the form of a DBC file, which can be imported via our DSS. As a customer you can of course access our extensive list of ECUs already implemented. In total, depending on the manufacturer, up to 64 sensors can be queried. OBD2 queries via CAN bus (11bit/29bit) are of course also implemented. Vehicle-specific protocols such as UDS or TP2 are also available. Included as standard: - OBD2 - 11 and 29bit - Ecumaster - Classic and Black - VAG PQ34 - Haltech v2 - LinkECU - MaxxECU - Motec M1 - Emtron - Megasquirt 2 and 3. If the ECU you want is not listed, you can download or request the matching TRI/TRX from our database. For all VAG vehicles from model year 2008 (in individual cases also older), we offer in-depth data queries via protocol. Values such as oil temperature, boost pressure, gearbox temperature, cylinder-selective ignition retard, fuel high and low pressure, wastegate duty cycle and much more can be queried and displayed. Integrated LED. The internal LED can be used both as a shift light and as a warning LED. As a shift light, you assign up to 8 different colours and rpm limits, as well as an rpm at which the shift light starts flashing. When configured as a warning LED, you can assign a min and max value per sensor. If the sensor is above the maximum or below the minimum value, the LED flashes in the previously configured colour. The shift light is deactivated during the warning. Scope of delivery and extensions. The characteristic curves of our in-house CANchecked sensors are stored in the display as standard and work plug & play: AIN1: temperature sensor (NTC01) AIN2: converter for type K exhaust gas temperature probe (TCC01) AIN3: pressure sensor 0-10 bar (FLP01) AIN4: boost pressure sensor 0-5.5 bar (BST10) AIN5: not preconfigured AIN6: not preconfigured For the connection you can use our pre-assembled 4-way AIN wiring harness. With the corresponding licence*, you can also connect an ethanol sensor directly to the display via a separate pin. With the “Live Logging” add-on licence, your display can log the sensor data in the oDSS. You can then download the log as a file to your smartphone or PC. All sensors are logged (CAUTION: with OBD and UDS, only those currently displayed!). Select the sensors you want to display graphically. Flex fuel ethanol sensor directly on the MFD15 Gen2. With the add-on licence for the ethanol sensor, you connect a sensor directly to the display. You need a pull-up resistor (10K) between 5V and signal. You can now see both ethanol content and temperature and can also log these sensors. CAN switching and AIN forwarding. With the add-on licence for CAN switching and AIN forwarding, you can switch CAN switches using the buttons on your display or the rotary knob and put the input voltages of your analogue inputs on the CAN bus so you can also see them in your ECU.
