The significant difference lies in the way data is transmitted. While the TCC01 outputs an analogue 0-5 volt voltage, the TCC04 send their readings directly to the CAN bus. Our TCCXX family is available in four different sizes and versions: TCC04, TCC06, TCC08 and TCC10. With the TCCXX modules you can connect an impressive up to ten type K thermocouples and conveniently send the readings via the CAN bus or monitor them directly on your WiFi-enabled device. Type K thermocouples are extremely versatile. You can use them to measure exhaust gas temperature (EGT), temperatures before and after the intercooler, cylinder head temperatures, water temperature, oil temperature and much more. The best part: all measurements are cold-junction compensated and offer an impressive measuring range from 0 to 1250°C with a resolution of 0.25°C (14 bit). The TCC04 modules have a practical four-pin DTM connection for CAN and miniature K sockets. They support the CAN 2.0A/B standard with flexible configuration, which means they are compatible with a wide range of devices from other manufacturers. But the highlight of the TCCXX models is undoubtedly their WiFi connectivity. You can easily configure and update your module via your smartphone or PC and retrieve the current temperature values and the status of the thermocouples. Configuring the devices via WiFi is child’s play: - You can set the CAN speed, whether 125kbps, 250kbps, 500kbps or 1Mbps. - Choose between different emulation modes such as Standard, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster or AEMnet. - Adjust the standard CAN bus ID and choose between big or little endian.
