This Bull-X dummy front silencer for front-wheel-drive petrol models on the MQB platform combines the sound advantage of a replacement pipe with the look of an OEM silencer. Dimensions, appearance and material match the factory part, so it is inconspicuous when fitted. The pipe diameter remains 65mm, which is a clear advantage over the often-offered “slip-in solution” with a 63mm stainless steel pipe, since, unlike our solution, these reduce the inner diameter to 59mm with a wall thickness of 2mm. Details: - Material: steel (SS409) as OEM - replaces the front silencer - Factory look - OEM pipe diameter of 65mm (no reduction) - not road-legal under the StVZO - incl. fitting kit - Suitable as a replacement for any VAG front-wheel-drive system with the front silencer in the “trapezoid/triangle look” (as in the pictures) - Fits if your OEM exhaust system has 2 silencers. Several adapters + reducers are included in the scope of delivery, so every pipe diameter available from the factory is covered. You can’t order the wrong thing. This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! The dummy front silencer offered is not approved under the German road traffic licensing regulations (StVZO)! Only with an ECE exhaust system and the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion and possible investigations by the environmental authority.
