Would you like to achieve more power with your turbocharged engine while at the same time relieving your turbocharger? Then you should start with this Bull-X product! The downpipe plays a decisive role in pulling power and performance. It is the “link” between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The larger the pipe diameter and the higher the flow capacity of the downpipe, the more easily the turbocharger can discharge the spent exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on torque and power. The advantages at a glance: • the turbocharger can discharge the exhaust gases more easily, resulting in more power • more torque, as the turbocharger reaches speed faster and is not slowed down • lower exhaust gas temperature, which relieves the manifold & turbocharger • thanks to the OEM connection, fitting is “plug and play” This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion, and possible investigations by the environmental authority Catalytic converter information If you select a downpipe without a cat or with a 100/200-cell cat, the control unit may log an error message from the post-cat lambda sensor; this does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor is still there for engine management. The post-cat sensor is only responsible for monitoring the cat’s effectiveness. This can be programmed out by a chip tuner by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard have no post-cat oxygen sensor, and installation is possible without further adaptation and without error messages. The washcoat content of HJS ECE and EOBD cats is significantly higher and is characterised by a very high oxygen storage capacity, which means error messages can be avoided. The EOBD cats have been tested for this up to Euro 4. Durability and use up to the Euro 6 emissions standard are of course guaranteed. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the points mentioned above can only be avoided if a cat with ECE approval is selected.
