BULL-X Exhausts produces downpipes at the highest level. Like the 3.5"/89mm Bull-X downpipe for the VW Polo 6R/6C GTI, Audi A1 1.8TFSI and Seat Ibiza Cupra 6P. The downpipe is perfectly suited to both stock and tuned vehicles. Fitting this downpipe also results in a performance increase and improved response. Another decisive reason for buying this downpipe is that exhaust gas temperatures drop and the exhaust manifold and turbocharger are relieved. The advantages at a glance: - increases performance - Less strain on components - Plug & Play - Pipe diameter 89mm/3.5" at the turbocharger, continuing with a 3"/76mm pipe diameter - *optionally without catalytic converter, incl. 100-cell sports cat, incl. 200-cell sports cat, with Bull-X 200-cell EOBD sports cat by HJS or with 200-cell HJS sports catalytic converter incl. ECE operating licence - TIG-welded - Material: stainless steel - incl. stainless steel reducer for easy fitting to the factory system, or a connecting sleeve with 76mm inner diameter for fitting to a 3" exhaust system. (optional) Note: on vehicles with a manual gearbox we recommend using the reinforced torque mount, as the original mounts wear out very quickly and the larger pipe diameter could otherwise lead to contact/noise. Power diagram Polo 6C 1.8TSI standard software with HF-Series intercooler and Bull-X downpipe If a catalytic converter variant without ECE approval is selected, the following applies to this item: This item is not approved for use on public roads - For racing purposes only! CAUTION! All catalytic converters/cat replacement pipes offered, except the EC-tested catalytic converter from HJS, are not approved under the German road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter may you legally drive your vehicle on public roads. The use of all other catalytic converters is intended for racing purposes only. If, despite our notice, you fit a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you are committing a criminal offence. Possible consequences include: invalidation of the operating licence, decommissioning of the vehicle, a complaint for tax evasion and possible investigations by the environmental authority. Catalytic converter information If you select a downpipe without a cat or with a 100/200-cell cat, the control unit may log an error message from the post-cat lambda sensor; this does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor is still there for engine management. The post-cat sensor is only responsible for monitoring the cat’s effectiveness. This can be programmed out by a chip tuner by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard have no post-cat oxygen sensor, and installation is possible without further adaptation and without error messages. The washcoat content of HJS ECE and EOBD cats is significantly higher and is characterised by a very high oxygen storage capacity, which means error messages can be avoided. The EOBD cats have been tested for this up to Euro 4. Durability and use up to the Euro 6 emissions standard are of course guaranteed. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the points mentioned above can only be avoided if a cat with ECE approval is selected.
